The project

PLN UPT Palembang appointed Spektrum to replace the zigzag transformers for interbus transformers IBT#1 and IBT#2 at the 150 kV Borang substation (GI Borang) in Banyuasin, South Sumatra.

The work was carried out at an operating substation, so each step—from moving the new units into position to connecting the bushings—was coordinated with PLN’s substation team, ending with the planned energization of both transformers.
